Erika Marthins is a designer and researcher exploring what happens when technology meets the senses — and gathers around the table. Through Augmented Food Studio, she creates playful, multisensory experiences — edible robots and augmented chocolate records — that ask how we want to eat, feel and relate to technology.
Trained in interaction design at ECAL and architecture at ETH Zürich, her work sits at the edges of disciplines. It has been shown internationally, from Ars Electronica to the United Nations and Vitra Design Museum.
She moderates the UN's AI & Food panel series and researches digital preservation on the SNSF project Paik Replayed at ECAL.
